Mancin Named DOC

RUSC is pleased to announce that Mary Mancin has been named as our new Director of Coaching.

"I am so excited to have this opportunity to help continue to grow the success of RUSC.  I am looking forward to a great season with all the players, parents, and coaches who love this great game," Mancin said.

Mancin's responsibilities as DOC include support and development of the coaching staff, technical/tactical development of players, leadership development of coaches and players, community involvement, and fund raising. Mancin will also be leading the U5-U10 Academy and the U11-U19 Technical Training.

"We are very happy to have a professional with Mary's experience and energy," said Paul Gregory, RUSC President and U18B coach. "She will hellp take us towards a more professional, more sustainable club model, and be an excellent resource for our coaches, parents, and players."

Mancin is also in her first season as an assistant coach for the VMI women’s soccer program.

Previously she was an assistant women’s soccer coach at Southeastern Louisiana University. Prior to SLU, Mancin served as an assistant coach at the University of Tennessee at Martin, Belmont University, and Columbus State University.

Mancin was a four-year letter winner in soccer at Columbus State University where she was rostered from 2009-12 and went on to play two years in the WPSL with the Georgia Revolution from 2012-13.

She holds several coaching licenses including the USC Level III GK Diploma (2017), the USSF ‘C’ License (2015) and the USSF ‘D’ License (2011).

Mancin earned a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Columbus State in 2013 and went on to earn a master’s degree in the same field from Columbus State in 2015.
